Responsibilities:
  • Conduct manual testing on software applications to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements.
  • Identify, record, and track bugs to resolution utilizing bug tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Perform regression testing to validate software enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Generate test reports and provide feedback to stakeholders on test results.
  • Participate in team meetings, reviews, and retrospectives to improve testing processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies in software testing.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of proven experience as a Manual Tester in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
